November 26, 2014 – Arlington’s new FA101H single-gang horizontal 21-ci In/Out box is suitable for countertops, backsplashes… anywhere you need a horizontal outlet.

Designed for new construction, the box is preset for a 1/2-in. wall, but adjusts to fit a finished wall up to 1-1/2 in. It’s the best choice of outlet, insists Arlington, when the final wall thickness is not known (e.g. tile, double drywall). The FA101H eliminates setback boxes, says the company, mounts securely to steel or wood studs, with a depth adjustment screw that is always accessible.
