The FTTH COUNCIL is looking for ideas, topics and speaker suggestion to support the theme "Lighting the Economy" at its upcoming FTTH Conference & Expo. The 2011 Call for Papers will be released in early February for speaker selection for the track and poster sessions.

The conference will be held in Orlando, Florida, from September 26-30 at the Walt Disney Swan & Dolphin Resort.
"We are committed to providing its conference attendees with the highest quality presentations, sessions and educational materials possible, and your input is essential to our success," says the council.
Click here to complete the form to:
  • provide ideas or suggestions for educational content for the 2011 conference
  • self-nominate to speak on a specific topic
  • recommend an individual to speak on a specific topic
All recommendations must be received no later than January 14 to be considered. Ideas and topics will then be presented to the Program Review Committee for their consideration.
Speakers must be qualified to deliver a proposed presentation, and sessions must be free of commercial promotion. Recommended speakers may be invited to submit an abstract via the Call for Papers submission process.
Membership is not required to participate in this call for ideas/topics/speakers. Complete contact information is required for any individual nominated to speak. Each individual must be willing to submit an abstract via a Call for Papers submission and to be evaluated by their peers through a blind review process.
