September 3, 2013 – Freightliner Trucks—the official hauler of NASCAR—has launched its NASCAR weekend “Freightliner Hauler Challenge” Sweepstakes. Running September 1-28, 2013, the sweepstakes is part of the “Freightliner Hauler Challenge: Journey to Homestead” app, giving users the opportunity to win one of four all-expenses-paid trips to Florida for the chance to see the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion be crowned at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November.

Freightliner says the app—which is available for Android, Kindle and Apple devices—provides an entertaining and interactive experience that puts users in the driver’s seat of a Freightliner truck that transports NASCAR teams across virtual routes to the final race of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The updated version of the Freightliner Hauler Challenge app adds the Freightliner Cascadia 113 natural gas tractor to the lineup of truck models that users can select as they maneuver through roads and obstacles. The app also features a dealer locator, Freightliner Trucks product information and more.

Grand prizes and secondary prizes (team-signed apparel packages) will be given away each week through September 28, 2013. Additional prizes will be awarded on the Freightliner Trucks’ Facebook page and Twitter feed. The sweepstakes is open to Canadian (and U.S.) residents, excluding Quebec.
