September 15, 2011 | By Alyssa Dalton
September 15, 2011 – TCP debuted its expanded line of luminaires, including TCPatlas, TCPradient and TCPcobra LEDs, at this May’s Lightfair International 2011. The LED fixtures were designed to last longer while increasing the amount of light output and reducing the amount of energy used to power them, says TCP. These new fixtures use LM 80 certified LED dies and meet UL 8750 requirements, it adds.
According to TCP, TCPatlas is ideal for surface and recessed applications where long life and maintenance free operation is required; TCPradient is built with wet location and IP67 ratings, and suitable for tunnels, dirty environments, and specialty high bay applications; and TCPcobra operates best for street lighting, parking lot lighting, parks, and stadium lighting areas.
