April 1, 2016 – Dewalt says it has launched its first cordless, full-size band saw, the 20V Max XR brushless deep cut band saw (DCS374).

The saw features a 5×4-3/4-in. capacity to cut strut, pipe, angle iron, pipe and various other materials. At 13.8 lb (with a 5.0Ah battery), Dewalt says the saw is 1.2 lb lighter than its corded cousin (DWM120). It also features a magnesium housing and adjustable bail handle and hook.

This product achieves up to 149 cuts of 1-5/8-in Strut with 14 TPI blade, according to the company. It also includes a 20 second delay LED light and uses a standard 44-7/8-in. size blade.
