January 19, 2016 – K-Sun Corp., a provider of industrial identification and labeling solutions, has introduced what it calls “the next generation of multi-industry, label, heat-shrink tube and bar-code printers”: the LW-PX900.

K-Sun and Epson co-developed this rugged, portable and PC-compatible thermal transfer printer. The LW-PX900 is designed for ANSI/TIA-606-B and cabling installation standards, safety/compliance, quality improvement and 5S/lean/visual workplace labeling. It has features such as “drop-stop, pick & print and mixed length” plus removable magnetic feet for vertical hands-free operation, and wider widths of heat shrink tube.

Industry-specific hot keys simplify template selection, K-Sun says, for wire wraps, patch panels, faceplates and punch blocks. There is also a reduced lead margin of 4mm and adjustable left/right margins down to 1mm. Other features include alphanumeric sequencing, auto-repeat, auto-cut, 13 languages and a 99-file printer memory.
