Season 6 – Fall 2015 brings new heated gear from Milwaukee

October 2, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

October 2, 2015 – Milwaukee Tool says they will continue to update and expand their line of M12 heated gear as they begin their 6th season this fall. The company notes the 2015 line will include the introduction of the new M12 heated 3-in-1 ripstop jacket & M12 heated ripstop vest, a completely redesigned women’s jacket, improved run-time on all heated jackets, and a new colour option for the M12 heated hoodie.

Brand new this fall, the M12 heated 3-in-1 ripstop jacket pairs a heated hoodie with a ripstop shell. The hoodie integrates 3 carbon fiber heating elements between a water repellant shell and insulating liner. The shell is insulated, wind and water resistant, and features premium 900 Denier ripstop fabric, Milwaukee says. The M12 vest uses the same ripstop material.

The popular grey M12 heated hoodie will also transition to a darker charcoal colour for 2015, Milwaukee adds.

Completely redesigned from the previous model, the 2015 version of the M12 heated women’s jacket features “a new cut, improved styling and optimized heating zone locations”.

In addition to new products, Milwaukee says it has made multiple upgrades to increase performance and appeal of core M12 heated gear products. Now sold with a M12 red lithium 2.0 battery, heated jacket kits can now provide up to 8 hours of heat, Milwaukee claims. For added utility, these jackets will also feature an upgraded 2.1A USB battery controller.
