Toronto Hydro’s Anthony Haines chairing Canadian Electricity Association

February 6, 2013 – The Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) has appointed Anthony Haines, president and CEO of Toronto Hydro Corp., as chair, replacing outgoing chair Chris Huskilson, president and CEO of Emera Inc.

Haines’ career in the Canadian energy industry spans 25 years, including 15 years in various senior roles in the natural gas industry. He has been a member of CEA’s board since 2006, and is involved with the Ontario Coalition of Large Distributors. He is also a past board member of the Electricity Distributors Association (EDA).

Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) members generate, transmit and distribute electrical energy to industrial, commercial, residential and institutional customers across Canada.
