Toyota announces newly updated 2012 Tacoma

November 10, 2011 | By Alyssa Dalton

November 10, 2011 – Toyota plans to offer fresh new styling, additional standard features and updated option packages for the 2012 Tacoma–all at pricing that’s lower than the 2011 model year, it says. The 2012 Tacoma is available in 4X2 and 4X4 configurations, with a choice of engine size, transmission and cab size. New features include: new chiselled front fascia, including grille, headlamps, hood and bumpers; a redesigned steering wheel and shift knob; a new centre stack has piano-black accents (4X4 only); two additional cargo tie-down hooks; and folding rear-seat headrests. Offered in eight different configurations, the automaker adds that the Tacoma enable Canadians to find just the right compact pick-up they can depend on to meet their needs.
