February 26, 2013 – Knipex Tools LP is proud to announce its installation pliers and X-Cut diagonal cutters have received the 2013 iF product design award. The installation pliers are an “ideal complement” to an electrician’s diagonal cutters, says Knipex, as it “mimics” tools such as long-nose pliers, wire strippers, crimping pliers and cable shears. The X-Cut pliers are compact and lightweight, says Knipex, but “precise and powerful” due to the double-supported joint axis.
