Aug. 8, 2019 – Electri-Flex announces its ‘Type CSA’ Liquatite jacketed metallic flexible electrical conduit conforms to C22.2 No. 56-17 Annex A ‘heavy-duty’ (HD) for CSA certification.

The HD annex requires a liquid-tight flexible metal conduit to pass additional tension, connector compatibility, crush and flexibility tests. Only conduit types 0.5 in. or larger can qualify for the HD designation.

The Type CSA conduit comprises a hot-dipped galvanized steel core and a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket. It is CSA-certified with a flame test rating FT-4 flame retardant, ultraviolet (UV) sunlight-resistant and engineered to work in temperatures ranging from -40 to 75 C.
