UL warns of counterfeit Mark on LED power supply 12PN-12

October 16, 2012 – UL is notifying manufacturers, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), consumers, retailers and distributors that the LED Power Supply identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark for Canada and the States. It has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate standards for safety, so it is unknown whether it complies with the safety requirements for Canada and the States.
Name of Product: Class 2 waterproof LED power supply
Model KSCFF1002400T1M2.
Identification: The product bears a counterfeit UL Mark and Model KSCFF1002400T1M2
It is known to be sold by Smarts Import & Export Co. Ltd., China, and may have been sold at other locations.
