UL warns of potentially hazardous decorative lighting strings – 12PN-40

October 16, 2012 – UL is notifying consumers, retailers and distributors that the decorative lighting string, identified below, may pose a fire and shock hazard. The product does not comply with UL’s safety requirements (for the United States) and is not eligible to bear the UL Mark.

Name of Product: Flicker Lights

Hazard: The product may overheat posing a risk of fire and/or electric shock.

Identification: The product bears an unauthorized UL Mark, and the following labels on the product:
