May 14, 2013 – Universal Lighting Technologies says it is bringing new levels of design flexibility, colour rendering and energy efficiency to commercial lighting fixtures as the exclusive source of Panasonic ELeaf OLED modules in North America. With ELeaf technology, says Universal, lighting fixture OEMs can create designs that bring the light source close without damaging light-sensitive materials, or causing discomfort to occupants. Each 9-mm thick OLED module features a square light emitting surface (LES) area of 80 x 80 mm that produces a diffuse and uniform white light. Arranged together, ELeaf OLED modules can create an entire wall of light without generating significant heat.
