February 7, 2018 – Ram’s ProMaster full-size Class 2 van benefits from a front-wheel-drive system; by locating all components beneath the cab, the cargo load floor height and step-in height are kept low.

New standard equipment for 2018 includes: Uconnect 5.0 (with optional navigation); integrated voice command with Bluetooth, along with steering wheel-mounted audio controls; rear backup camera on all models and backup camera kit with Chassis Cab and Cutaway models; and right and left sliding doors featuring a window grate (with fixed glass option).

The 2018 Ram ProMaster features the 3.6-L Pentastar V-6 and a 3.0-L EcoDiesel I-4 engine. The engines are paired, respectively, with a six-speed automatic transmission and an electronically controlled Dual Active Drive six-speed automated manual.

There are 15 models from which to choose, ranging from the ProMaster 1500 Cargo Van low-roof with 118-in. wheelbase to ProMaster 3500 Cargo Van high-roof extended body with 159-in. wheelbase, plus various Chassis Cab Cutaways.
