October 7, 2011 – AeroVironment (AV) offers a suite of electric vehicle charging stations, including: public DC fast-charging station (left); fleet DC fast-charging station (second from left); commercial AC charging station (second from right); 120vAC standard charging cord (right/bottom), home AC charging station and home AC charging station with smart grid capability (right/top). AeroVironment says it is the first company to provide a full lineup of chargers that meets the standards established by UL. AV’s Level 2 chargers are SAE J1772 compliant. In addition to partnering with Nissan for the LEAF, AV is also partnering with BMW to provide charging solutions for the BMW Active E.
