Aruba Networks sent us this video to show how Wi-Fi networks can deliver a reliable Wi-Fi experience on tablets and smartphones. In a recent deployment at University of Ottawa, six multimedia applications ran across 100 iPads in 1 room. The goal was to baseline the performance of Wi-Fi networks for the influx of mobile devices using Aruba’s 802.11n Wi-Fi. This test offers a model for not just higher education, but any enterprise that needs to support mobile devices and voice/video applications.
