VIDEO – GM unveils CNG bi-fuel Silverado & Sierra 2500 HD at The Work Truck Show 2012

While at NTEA’s Work Truck Show 2012, we attended an exclusive press event where GM Commercial officials announced details of the CNG (compressed natural gas) bi-fuel 2013 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD extended cab pickups.
The vehicles include a CNG-capable Vortec 6.0L V8 engine that promises to seamlessly transitions between CNG and gasoline fuel systems. Combined, the trucks offer a range of more than 650 miles. The Silverado and Sierra will be available in standard and long box, with either two- or four-wheel drive.
