March 11, 2014 – “We all want to have access to young talent,” explains Joris Myny, who knows all about the importance of connecting industry with its next generation. This is why the senior vice-president, Industry Sector, for Siemens Canada Ltd., proudly promotes EFC’s 2014 Scholarship Program.

Myny chairs this year’s Electro-Federation Canada’s Scholarship Committee, and he took time out of his busy schedule to chat with EBMag about his own experience as a student and how industry influenced his career decisions—for the better. The electrical industry is innovative by its very nature, explains Myny, promising engaging and rewarding career paths, and EFC’s 2014 Scholarship Program (a banner year, incidentally) aims to help students get there.

Applications are being accepted now until May 31, 2014.
