In the fall of 2010, the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) released its new fall-prevention training program called “Working at Heights: Fundamentals of Fall Prevention”.
Ontario’s then-minister of labour, Peter Fonseca, was on-hand to officially launch the program at IHSA’s Skills Development Centre in Mississauga, Ont. EBMag, along with sister publication, Canadian Occupational Safety, were on hand for the announcement, as well as a tour of the Skills Development Centre that followed.
