Wago’s 2059 terminal block approved for larger conductors

August 4, 2016 – Wago says its universal surface-mount PCB solution, the 2059, has now been approved for 20AWG/0.5 mm² conductors. 2059 terminal blocks create compact connections providing a tool to minimize the size of LED modules.

The 2059 features a low profile of 2.7 mm, minimizing on-board shadowing, according to Wago, and wire cross-sections from 26-20AWG, solid or tin-bonded conductors. It also has 3 mm pin spacing and a current rating up to 3A.
