September 30, 2016 – Intertek has issued a warning about portable luminaires (model 17359) from Luxes Lighting Co. bearing counterfeit Intertek certification marks for Canada and the United States. Intertek has not evaluated the products and it is not known if they comply with any safety requirements.

The product label shows control number 3128008 with the misspelling of “flush-mount” as “Flusnmount”.

The number of units sold is unknown but Intertek says they were sold through Amazon.com and says other retailers may have sold them.
