WARNING: Counterfeit UL Mark on emergency lighting inverters – 13PN-32

October 1, 2013 – UL has issued a notification to the public that the emergency lighting inverters identified below bear counterfeit UL Marks for Canada and the United States.
The emergency lighting inverters have not been evaluated by UL to any Standards for Safety and it is unknown if the emergency lighting inverters comply with any safety requirements. The affected models have been identified as: Defender 1, PLC, Mini, Defender 3, Eternalight Mini, Defender Plus.
The manufacturer is Digital Signal Power Manufacturer Emergency (DSPM) of Ontario, Calif.
