June 21, 2017 – UL has identified an LED driver—which may have been sold separately or packaged with an LED light kit—bearing a counterfeit UL Mark.
This driver has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate standards for safety. As such, it is unknown whether it complies with any safety requirements.
The product is marked with a counterfeit UL Listing and Recognition Marks, plus the following:
LED Driver Dimmable
Input: AC 85-265V 50/60 Hz
Ta: -20~65°C Tc: 85°C
The driver is known to be distributed by Smart Energy Solution Norcross LLC (Norcross, Ga.).
