WARNING: Ortech brand 1/2-in. and 3/4-in. connectors

September 28, 2016 – Crown Distributors Ltd. has issued a public notice regarding certain Ortech-branded connectors, which are marked with an unauthorized UL Mark but have not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate standards for safety.
The affected products include:
• Ortech 1/2-in. connectors, 100-pc/bag
• Ortech 3/4-in. connectors, 50-pc/bag
It is unknown whether these connectors comply with any safety requirements. The company manufacturing these connectors did not have authorization to use the UL Mark.
