November 18, 2016 – CSA Group is warning consumers of unauthorized use of CSA Group trademarks on light bulbs sold in the Canadian market, branded as “Value Power” and “Prestige Lighting”.

There have been no reports of injury to date, according to CSA Group, but potential hazards include electrical shortages, shock, fire and laceration.

The warning includes various models and styles, including Value Power “VP01621”, “VP01334” and “VP01335” and Prestige Lighting “B005455-25”, “B005455-40” and “B005455-60”.

Modern Houseware Imports (M.H.I) /Holland Imports Inc. (H.I.I), based in Burnaby, B.C., is the importer.

Consumers with the affected models are advised to immediately discontinue use of the product and to contact CSA Group’s anti-counterfeiting team at crush.counterfeiting@csagroup.org.
