WARNING: Incorrect temperature code ratings on Noribachi high-bay luminaires

January 20, 2017 – Intertek has issued a warning about the Noribachi Corporation LED high-bay luminaire for use in hazardous locations (Class I Division 2 Groups A-D Product Class II Division 2 Groups F, G) as it may pose a public hazard.

The product (models NHS.03, NHS.04, NHS.05, NHS.07, NHS.08, NHS.09) bears Intertek certification marks for Canada and the United States.

The correct temperature class (T-code) for each model in the series is not T6 (850C) as on the original luminaire rating plates. The correct T-code for each is as follows:

NHS.03 T3 (200C)
NHS.04 T4A (120C)
NHS.05 T3A (180C)
NHS.07 T3C (160C)
NHS.08 T3C (160C)
NHS.09 T4 (135C)

The high-bays are known to be sold online at www.noribachi.com. Consumers are asked to stop using the luminaries and contact Noribachi at 1-855-283-1100.
