Modules bearing an ETL certification mark with a date of manufacture between 2011 and 2013 may not be in compliance with their listing requirements, and should be removed from service if any signs of delamination are present.

Next, modules bearing an ETL certification mark with a date of manufacture before 2011 or after 2013 bear counterfeit marks. It is not known whether they are in compliance with any standard. Such modules should be immediately removed from service.

Finally, modules not bearing an ETL certification mark may very well not be in compliance with any standard. Remove these modules from service immediately.
