September 6, 2012 – Phillips Industries describes its latest revision to the PermaPlug connector as simple, ingenious and the first of its kind. By adding a sealing component to the PermaPlug, the updated Weather-Tite PermaPlug sports a rubberized protective seal, along with the original three-blade Nitrile wiper seal to help avoid contaminants from damaging the electrical systems. Additional features of the connector include a ratchet-locked cable guard to help prevent vibration from loosening guard, and 26 gauge brass insert pins with stainless steel compression springs.
