Solving LED Dimming Issues in Retrofits • VIDEO

March 9, 2017 | By Renée Francoeur

March 9, 2017 – Are your dimmable LED installations behaving themselves? Did you know every LED fixture or lamp has its own unique dimming curve, or that—depending on the driver design—dimmable LEDs can cause a very high inrush compared to normal current draw?

Compared to what we’ve been using, LEDs are extremely versatile, making them the go-to light source when retrofitting existing lamps and luminaires. However, dimming LEDs requires careful co-ordination of lamps, drivers and controls to ensure proper performance. WATCH the RECORDING (above).

This webinar occurred April 20, 2017, at 2 pm EST.

Join dimming expert Forrest Kelsey for a 1-hour webinar as he explores the controllability of dimmable LED sources, and the opportunities (and problems!) that occur. He will also tackle powerline noise, dimming expectations and Best Practices for retrofits in commercial and residential applications.
