September 9, 2010 | By Anthony Capkun

mt_ignoreElectro-Federation Canada (EFC) invites you to its annual Economic Forecast Day on September 23, 2010. Attend and learn what top analysts and key industry speakers are forecasting for 2011. And, new this year, are two attendance options:

The event will be held both live and via webcast, and the registration process for both is the same. It couldn’t be simpler to reserve your online or seminar seat.

Keynote presenters include:

• Back by popular demand! Resident economist Maureen Farrow (Economap
Inc.) will provide her highly anticipated economic overview of our
industry in Canada and worldwide.
• Mark Kurschner from the Product Care Association will share insight on
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs in Canada, and what you
need to know to comply with current and forthcoming provincial
stewardship regulations.
• Roger Partington (Coherent B2B) will provide an overview of the
Canadian Construction market and how it will affect your business’
growth in 2011.
• Don Leavens from the National Electrical Manufacturers Association
(NEMA) will present on the U.S. economy and the electroindustry.

Again, the event is being held at the Pearson Convention Centre
(Brampton, Ont.). Registration and hot buffet breakfast occur at 7:30
am. The event (and webinar) runs from 8:00 am to 11:30 am (EST).
