May 23, 2018 — The recently introduced M18 Rover floodlight from Milwaukee features a 2 in. spring-loaded clamp and magnets that allow users to turn jobsite surfaces into hanging surfaces.

With a rotating, folding head, the flood can direct light to the desired area, and the magnetic base allows users to stick it to metal surfaces such as steel studs and electrical boxes, with a holding strength of over 25 lbs. It can also be mounted mounted to other common surfaces like work carts, wood studs, scissor lifts and ladders through the spring-loaded clamp.

Providing up to 1500 lumens of light, it can illuminate large workspaces for up to 20 hours on a single charge. Featuring Trueview Technology, the tool uses a high-impact polycarbonate lens designed for use in harsh jobsite conditions. With an IP54 rating, the product is also protected from dust and water.
