September 19, 2018 — Eaton’s enhanced BR arc fault/ground fault (AF/GF) circuit breaker is designed with short-body configuration to maximize space inside the load centre and create additional wire-way.

According to the company, this eases installation in residential and light commercial applications. Enhanced features allow the breaker to operate at higher efficiency, consuming less energy and producing less heat. The circuit breaker features improved AFCI and GFCI algorithms to reduce call backs.

The short-body configuration also includes added diagnostic trip codes (including a new thermal overload code), easy-to-read trip codes through improved LEDs and the ability to reset the trip codes in the field and eliminate trip history to provide accurate indication of the most recent trip during troubleshooting. Additional configurations include a bolt-on offering.
