Noark Electric releases extended rotary handle (ERH), flange handle mechanism (FHM) for Dec. 2016

November 14, 2016 | By Renée Francoeur

November 14, 2016 – Noark Electric has two new additions to its moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB) family: the extended rotary handle (ERH) and the flange handle mechanism (FHM).

The ERH, part of the MCCB family, is UL-listed with UL Type 1/3R/12 or 4/4X and meets all requirements for standards in Canada. The unit is offered in black/grey or red/yellow handles and is available in shaft lengths of 7.9 in., 12.6 in. or 19.7 in.

The external handle is a new safety feature and shows the state of the circuit breaker without opening the panel and a new, larger handle design gives the user more leverage than previous models. It is available for the 65kAIC rated M1/M2 MCCBs, as well as the M3/M4 MCCBs.

The FHM has a flange handle UL Type 1/3R/12 or UL Type 4/4X with various flex shafts from 2-10 ft and was designed to allow the handle to be mounted anywhere on the panel or next to it. It is also available for the 65kAIC rated M1/M2 MCCBs, as well as the M3/M4 MCCBs.

The FHM mounts on the flange of an enclosure door, occupying less space inside the enclosure. It will be available for sale in December 2016.
