October 22, 2015 – Thanks to a partnership with Westex by Milliken, Wrangler has announced a flame-resistant (FR) “advanced comfort” jean, the newest extension of the brand’s “performance apparel featuring four-way flex technology that allows the jean to move with the wearer for maximum comfort”.
Milliken provided its latest advancements in FR fabric development with Westex Indigo, a new line of denim, Wrangler said. The fabric, which is made of a blend of fibers, exceeds flame resistant requirements from many protection agencies, Wrangler noted.
The jean features room2move technology with gusseted construction, reinforced back pockets and extra deep front pockets, Wrangler said. It should be available on wrangler.com and in specialty retailers by March 2016, according to the company.
