Jobsite data: how we get it, and how we make it useful – EBPowerCon 2021

June 11, 2021 | By Anthony Capkun

June 11, 2021 – Everywhere we turn, we are bombarded by data. We hear about data collection and analysis, “big data” and so on. It permeates our lives, and the jobsite is no different. Typically “behind the times”, the construction sector is seeing massive investment in data technologies to drive performance and results.

David Burczyk, Segment Manager for the Field Technology Group with Trimble Buildings, joins us at EBPowerCon 2021 to discuss the current state of data collection (plus the technologies used to collect that data), and explain how it is being used to pursue beneficial results for construction stakeholders, and where those technologies are going.

The EBPowerCon Cybershow & Expo was launched by the team at Electrical Business Magazine for Canada’s professional electrical community—contractors, engineers, maintenance, and related stakeholders—with the goal of shedding light on trends and technologies so as to empower them with knowledge and insight into markets and opportunities.
