Zumtobel Lighting investing $10 million for expansion in the Americas

August 13, 2015 – Zumtobel Lighting says it is investing in talent acquisition as well as modernization of its production lines located in the U.S.

 
The company noted it is channeling $10 million towards advancements and upgrades in its Highland, N.Y. production facility and in its U.S. sales and marketing infrastructure. Additionally, Zumtobel received a $1.3 million grant from Empire State Development Corp. to make improvements to its assembly and distribution facility at Highland.
 
“This investment in the American market demonstrates the commitment of Zumtobel to the Americas market and the dedication to provide next generation lighting fixtures and systems,” said Zumtobel Lighting CEO Kevin Maddy.

Zumtobel is a supplier of luminaires and lighting management systems. It is a brand of Zumtobel Group AG, with its head office in Dornbirn, Vorarlberg (Austria).
