December 17, 2014 – The Chevrolet Express Cargo is available in regular and extended (135-in. and 155-in.) wheelbase lengths, in heavy-duty 2500 Series and 3500 Series models.

The 2500 Series includes models rated at 8600 lb GVWR, while the 3500 Series includes full-bodied models rated at 9600 lb GVWR with a standard 6.0L gas V-8 and 9900 lb with the Duramax 6.6L turbo-diesel.

The Express Crew Cargo Van offers a three-passenger rear bench, with additional equipment including full-length black rubberized-vinyl floor covering, fixed full-body window package glass, swing-out passenger-side door and head-/side-curtain air bags. On extended wheelbase models, it also includes rear air-conditioning.

Chevrolet Express offers a choice of two gas engines: standard 4.8L V-8 rated at 285 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque and an available 6.0L V-8 rated at 342 hp and 373 lb-ft of torque. The 6.0L is offered in a special version with hardened valve seats for the available dedicated compressed natural gas models: the industry’s only CNG vehicles, says Chevrolet, that are fully integrated at the factory, crash tested and backed by GM’s 100,000-mile/5-year transferable powertrain limited warranty.
