December 14, 2023 – Champion Fiberglass—a supplier of fiberglass conduit, strut and bridge drain systems to the industrial, electrical, and mechanical markets—welcomed Billy Bender as process & development engineer.

“We’re excited to have Billy lead our process improvement and innovation efforts, and to see how his ideas and expertise will enhance our manufacturing capabilities to benefit our customers,” said Goran Haag, executive chair.

In his role, Bender will provide day-to-day support of production while spearheading the development of new processes for the company that will “positively impact product quality, productivity, costs, and safety”.

He will work with plant management on key performance indicators, such as raw materials, and energy and water usage, and help ensure manufacturing processes and equipment have the capability to meet customer requirements for all products shipped.
