December 6, 2023 – City Electric Supply has acquired Coldbrook Electric Supply, a Nova Scotia-based independent electrical wholesaler.

“We are excited to combine our industry expertise with Coldbrook’s local excellence to serve our customers better than ever,” said Sean Whittaker, vice-president, Operations, City Electric.

Coldbrook Electric was established in 2011 and has grown to include three branches in Nova Scotia: Coldbrook, Dartmouth/Burnside, and Halifax/Bayers Lake.

According to City, this acquisition marks a significant milestone, as the company “now extends its reach from coast to coast, proudly serving customers in six provinces across Canada”.
