Cooper Crouse-Hinds Pauluhn moves to new manufacturing facility

June 30, 2011 | By Alyssa Dalton

June 30, 2011 – Cooper Crouse-Hinds celebrated the opening of a new, “innovative” manufacturing facility to support its Pauluhn product line on June 15, 2011. “As customer needs continue to grow, the company made the strategic decision to move its operations to a larger facility that will allow for improved efficiency, future expansion and overall service level for customers,” it explained.

Cooper Industries acquired Pauluhn in 2009, expanding the company’s portfolio of products designed specifically for harsh and hazardous conditions. Pauluhn is a supplier of different specialized area lighting and connecting products used in offshore and onshore drilling, shipbuilding, mining, petrochemical and other industrial applications involving harsh and corrosive environments.

“Our customers have come to expect superior performance from our products and services, and we are confident they will be pleased with the enhanced level of service and support we are able to offer them now that we have relocated,” said Grant Gawronski, president, Cooper Crouse-Hinds.

“We are very excited that we had the opportunity to move our Pauluhn operations to a facility that is not far from the existing one, but that will provide vast improvements in the way we serve our Pauluhn customers,” he added.
