Cooper Lighting unveils Halo Surface LED downlight

January 31, 2014 – Eaton’s Cooper Lighting division has announced the Halo Surface LED downlights (SLD) for new construction, remodel and retrofit projects.

Featuring WaveStream LED technology, the luminaire boasts annual energy savings of up to 80% when compared to a traditional incandescent fixture. It is available in 4-in and 6-in models and can be installed into standard 3.5-in and 4-in junction boxes or retrofit into compatible 4-in, 5-in or 6-in aperture insulated ceilings (IC) and non-IC recessed housings. Users can use the Halo SLD as a replacement for surface-mounted products and used in wet location ceilings, such as showers and protected outdoor ceilings.
