Lutron brings EcoSystem technology to Cree luminaires

December 31, 2012 – Cree and Lutron Electronics have partnered to embed the latter’s EcoSystem technology on a chip into Cree luminaire drivers in hopes of accelerating LED adoption and increasing energy efficiency for building designers, contractors and owners. The companies say the solution brings digital control and dimming opportunities and delivers integrated, pre-tested system compatibility. According to Cree analysis, Cree CR Troffers equipped with Lutron EcoSystem technology can increase luminaire lifetime up to 50%.
