ESPS (Electrical Safety Program Solutions Inc.) CEO and senior management consultant, Terry Becker, P.Eng., announced the launch of a web-based Electrical Safety Training System (ESTS) for the electrical worker based on the CSA Z462 Workplace electrical safety standard for electric arc flash and shock qualification training. The training system allows electrical workers to identify and quantify the arc flash and shock hazards and help to establish preventive and protective control measures that can be used to mitigate arc flash and shock risk exposure. The training system features interactive and adult learning methods with full narration using scenarios in a unique 3-D Virtual Electrical Workplace classroom.

Survivor testimonials and a printable resource toolbox with supporting documentation are value-added features. Individual Module knowledge checks and a final assessment requiring 100% passing grade allow for a Certificate of Completion to be awarded. The ESTS course content is SCORM-compliant allowing it to be embedded into a client’s Learning Management System (LMS) or deployed on a reseller’s website. The ESTS can also be customized with an optional Module outlining a company’s Electrical Safety Program requirements.
