June 02 - June 04, 2024
136 8 Avenue SE, Calgary AB T2P 0K6

The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum’s 2024 National Apprenticeship Conference will be hosted June 2-4, 2024, at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre.

The event is expected to attract over 500 delegates from across Canada’s apprenticeship community, who will share “promising practices and innovative solutions in apprenticeship training”.

To that end, CAF has issued a Call for Presentations to employers, apprentices, trainers, administrators, and other members of the apprenticeship community, asking them to share their insights on supports and programs that have been successful at supporting tradespeople along their skilled trades journeys.

CAF says a successful submission will:

• Share insights into innovative projects, initiatives, and partnerships that stand to support progression to certification in apprenticeship training, highlighting the competitive advantage of equitable, diverse, inclusive and accessible workplaces.
• Inspire the apprenticeship community to engage in holistic, innovative, and collaborative solutions to address common challenges, including skills shortages, employer engagement and apprenticeship completion.
• Provide opportunities to connect with new ideas and perspectives, empowering delegates to partner with others and/or lead innovation in their community, trade, or sector.

The deadline for presentation submissions is January 10, 5 pm ET.

CAF-FCA is a non-profit organization that “connects Canada’s apprenticeship community”.
