Fuji Electric targets telecom industry with FH02000DHV power supply

April 16, 2013 – Fuji Electric Corp. of America has expanded its lineup of 48V front-end power supplies with the FH02000DHV for the telecom industry. According to the company, the FH02000DHV is the first high-voltage DC input (260-400vdc) 2000W power supply to possess a six-position shelf for up to 10kW of redundant power. The unit promises efficiency gains of over 15%, which are “critical for telecom providers”, says Fuji, who are powering 48 DC bus architectures. The power supply is designed for hot-swap applications in a chassis size of 2.73 x 4.86 x 12.65 in. Standard design features include: active current share; variable fan speed; DC output; over-voltage, over-current and short–circuit protection; remote sense; remote On/Off; over-temperature protection, and; output current and voltage monitoring.
