Greenlee unveiled its L Series battery-powered knockout punch drivers, which are capable of punching a hole for 2-in. conduit in 10-ga mild steel and 12-ga stainless in about 10 seconds. The LS60L drivers sense when the hole is completely punched and automatically shut off to prevent damage to the punch and die. They are designed with a forward-handle position that, says Greenlee, improves tool balance while the single trigger controls all tool functions. The overmoulded tacky grip makes gripping the tool easier and more comfortable, continues the company. There’s an LED worklight for illuminating dark work areas, and provides the operator with battery charge and tool maintenance status.
