Industry events impacted by ongoing threat of COVID-19

A number of industry meetings and events have been postponed, as a response to the growing threat of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.
We’ll be keeping a running list of events that have been postponed or cancelled due to this health threat. Please see below:
- AEA’s Electrical Learning Expo has been rescheduled to October 21, 2020.
- CAEA’s CANEW 2020 Workshop has been cancelled.
- CanWEA‘s Spring Forum has been cancelled.
- CSA‘s Annual Conference & Committee Week has been cancelled.
- EASA has cancelled its 2020 Annual Convention & Solutions Expo.
- ECAA has postponed all upcoming events in March and April.
- ECAA has postponed its annual AGM & Training Day until further notice.
- ECAO has postponed its Annual Conference until further notice.
- Electric Mobility Canada‘s EV 2020 Conference & Trade Show has been rescheduled to November 9-12, 2020.
- Electro-Federation Canada’s e-VOLVE Industry Conference has been rescheduled to September 1-3, 2020.
- EUFMC‘s 2020 Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference has been cancelled.
- FLIR’s InfraCanada West has been cancelled.
- IEEE IAS ESTMP Workshop 2020 has been postponed until further notice.
- IEEE has cancelled the ITEC 2020: IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference & Expo, but organizers are looking at a virtual model for the near future.
- IESO will be conducting all stakeholder engagement meetings through conference call or webinar.
- LEDucation has been rescheduled to August 18-19, 2020.
- Light + Building has been cancelled for 2020. Rescheduled to March 13-18, 2022.
- Lightfair has been cancelled.
- MEET Show has been rescheduled to November 18-19, 2020.
- NB Power‘s Energizing Efficiency Conference has been cancelled.
- NCEL‘s Upper Midwest Electrical Expo has been postponed until further notice.
- NETCO‘s 2020 National Training Conference has been postponed until further notice.
- The NFPA‘s 2020 Conference & Expo has been cancelled.
- OEL‘s Electrical Industry Conference has been postponed until further notice.
- OEN has postponed its networking luncheon with ESA president David Collie until further notice.
- The Plastics Pipe Institute‘s annual meeting has been cancelled.
- PM Springfest has been cancelled.
- The Safety Codes Council‘s 2020 Conference has been cancelled.
- Salon Lumen – Montreal and has been cancelled.
- Salon Lumen – Quebec City has been postponed until further notice.
- Skills Canada National Competition has been cancelled.
- Smart Energy Event 2020 has been rescheduled to August 18-19.
- Waterloo North Hydro‘s Electrical Safety for Contractors 2020 event has been cancelled.
