December 8, 2011 – Canlyte, a division of Philips Electronics Ltd., has named that Jean-Claude Lesperance will assume the role of senior sales manager for Eastern Canada.  

Lesperance has been in the lighting and electrical industry for over 25 years with experience in the lamps and luminaries businesses, electrical distribution, and electrical manufacturing, notes the company. His background has been focused in sales and sales management along with project management.  

He will be responsible for the sales strategy and development in Ottawa, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces.
