John Dobson named eastern regional manager for Cooper Crouse-Hinds Canada

On December 7, Cooper Crouse-Hinds Canada named John Dobson as the eastern regional manager for Canada. 

Dobson will work from the Cooper facility in Mississauga, Ont., and have full responsibility for all sales-related functions for Ontario east through to Atlantic Canada. Area Managers Garry Currie in Ontario, Gaetan Asselin in Quebec and Paul Mifflin in Atlantic Canada will be reporting directly to him.

“John is extremely well respected within the electrical industry and his experience will be a great asset to our organization,” said Grant Meadows, VP of Sales, Cooper Crouse-Hinds Canada.

Dobson brings more than 30 years of electrical industry experience with a background in sales, marketing and operations. His first position was actually with Crouse-Hinds where he worked as a production control supervisor at the former Granby, Quebec facility before moving to Ontario as a product manager. He then joined the EGS Electrical group where he held several senior positions with international and national exposure.

He holds a BBA from Bishop’s University and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
